Album X

Since May 1997 (I do recall?) Hanson, has become a revolution in the music industry. I know I'm starting to sound like an ET interviewer but just listen to me, okay? Well I remember buying the cd about a month after it came out because everywhere I went it was sold out.
Hunnie, this is Hanson Mania.
Everywhere I went I heard Mmmbop, even at my 5th grade grad. party it started blasting out on the stereo at our school and a bunch of 11 year old girls started screaming IT'S HANSON!!!! AHHH!!!!
Okay, I'll admit it, I was irritated. These three guys, who one might I say thought was a transsexual were everywhere. I was 11 years old and had the patience of a 3 year old. So I loathed them for a while, secretly infatuated with the drummer, thank God I found out was a guy.
Then Middle of Nowhere was added to my CD collection which contained :: blush:: Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys :: un-blush:: Well then Mmmbop was on the replay list not only on my CD player but at every radio station in just about the world.
That, my friends, was Hanson mania.
It basically was a summer of the roar of teenybopper screams, tank tops, and plenty of silly string.
Then the Mmmbop promo tour, and you know the rest.
Now presently, November 15, 1999, I don't know what day it will be when you're reading this but this is today for me, Hanson has had this major downfall over the past few months, almost a year they've almost basically disappeared from the music industry.
Now things are changing, I quote
"Everything changes" Taylor
Well they are.
Ike has, sniff cut off a HUGE chunk of his hair, an ironic ending to the "when you get old start loosing your hair" line from our never forgotten Mmmbop.
Zac, has grown into a giraffe, don't laugh I'm serious. He's like 5'9 and I'm uh...like 5'1. Age does matter.
Taylor, has cut his hair into a stylish new do' and still has that raspy tone on his voice.
But still no ones perfect. We love them anyway.
The new album, known as Album X, is a new perspective on Hanson. No doubt, they have a new look, but also a new sound. Rocky-pop. That's the way it's described. I've heard plenty of new clips, and I definitely miss the old Where's the Love. But the fans are getting older, most have grown up through the past 3 years with Hanson, so their taste is changing too. I've gone from the Spice Girls :: blushing again:: to Everclear and Blink 182 :: still blushing:: Mark's a hottie.
So I impatiently await the new album, so I hope the guys have good luck. Even though I am kinda pissed that they spent all summer surfing instead of recording, making us wait till Spring 2000.
